For over 400 years, glass has been blown in our family, the Müller-Blech family. What once began in small workshops with hand-blown glass is today an internationally renowned manufactory – and yet it has remained what it always was: a passion project.
With each generation, not only knowledge was passed on, but also passion, care and the unconditional desire to create something special from glass.

1597
The beginning of a long story
Our ancestor Christoph Müller founded the mother glassworks in Lauscha.
This marks the beginning of the Müller-Blech family's glassblowing tradition – a craft that continues to this day in its 15th generation.
1951
A new beginning with fire and passion
Heinz Müller-Blech flees from Thuringia to the West and founds a new glassblowing factory for Christmas tree decorations in Neustadt near Coburg – just a few meters behind the border.
It is the foundation stone of today's family business.

With the introduction of the Star Crown®, our ornaments receive their visible seal: A protected symbol for craftsmanship, passion and origin.
